Join Harrisonburg Media Group as we support the Great Community Give on Wednesday, April 22nd from 6:00am-8pm! Great Community Give is a sunrise to sunset event that promotes charitable giving to support nonprofit organizations in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County!

This year’s goal is $2.5 MILLION! 

There are over 150 Non-profit Organizations participating this year. The “Early Giving Phase” of Great Community Give is happening April 7th through April 21st for donors wishing to give check and cash donations which will add into the big day on April 22nd. Checks are made payable and sent directly to nonprofits of donors’ choice.

  • Follow these steps for Early Giving Phase / Checks & Cash donations:
    • Visit greatcommunitygive.org for information
    • Send checks and cash direct to nonprofits of your choice
    • Make check payable to nonprofit of your choice
    • Write ‘Great Community Give’ in the memo line of check donations
  • Follow these steps for Wednesday April 22nd/ ONLINE donations

There will be prizes given to nonprofits throughout the day as well as donation matching and challenges by area businesses and organizations.

Join us as we give back to the place we call home. Non-Profit Organizations advance their missions by devoting their resources to causes we are all passionate about. Every donation makes a difference in our community!

The Great Community Give is an initiative of the Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
