*Update* Missing Staunton woman found

Update – Augusta County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Leslie Snyder reports Adkins was found and reported to be safe.

 

STAUNTON, Va – Augusta County authorities are asking for help finding a missing Staunton woman.

Lieutenant Leslie Snyder said in a release that 55-year-old Laurie Ann Adkins was last seen on Friday at her home in the city.

Adkins is white, standing 5-feet-7-inches and weighing around 230 pounds. A photo of her is posted on our website, wsvaonline.com

According to Snyder, she could be driving a dark gray 2008 Chevy Tahoe, with Virginia license plates UZM-4046.

Anyone with information about Ms. Adkins whereabouts is asked to contact the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.
