Two years ago a house in Toms Brook was set on fire with three people sleeping inside.

Now, a man has been charged with setting that blaze and attempted murder.  Twenty-seven year old Andrew Tupin of Round Hill faces a slew of charges for the March 12, 2019 fire.

The Shenandoah County Fire Marshal’s Office says Tupin used gas to light the front porch of the home on fire while a man and his two sons slept.  All three were able to make it out of the home.

Tupin is being held without bond at the Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail.  He has a January 28th court date.
