WAYNESBORO, Va – A narcotics search warrant that was executed yesterday resulted in the arrest of a Waynesboro couple.

According to a news release, Waynesboro Police officers executed the search warrant in the 800 block of Grayson Avenue.

During the search, detectives discovered what they believed to have been fentanyl as well as a firearm.

Arrested were 23-year-old D’Angelo Toney and 28-year-old Kishyona Simone Brooks.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Toney was also charged with possession of a firearm.

Both were released on a secured bond.
