Is West Virginia U-S Senator Joe Manchin thinking about re-registering as an Independent?

He said yesterday that nothing’s off the table.

Speaking with Hoppy Kercheval on his MetroNews Talkline radio show, Manchin added that there’s a growing divide between Washington and West Virginia Democrats. He said most Mountain State liberals don’t agree with what they’re seeing in the nation’s capital.

If Manchin goes Independent, he would be the fourth senator to do so – joining Vermont’s Bernie Sanders, Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, and Maine Senator Angus King.
