The Clover Hill Bucks are now one win away from repeating as Rockingham County Baseball League champions as they beat Bridgewater last night, 14-1, in game five of the championship series at Buck Bowman Park. The Bucks now lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 as game six will take place Thursday night at Bridgewater.

Clover Hill scored one run in the first inning on Wednesday night and took control early with four more runs in the second inning. It stayed that way until the Bucks erupted for nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and earned the run-rule victory in seven.

Isaac Sumpter and Noel Cano added two RBI each, while Anthony Arrichiello earned the win on the mound.
