ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Elkton woman accused of causing a fatal accident earlier this week will stay behind bars for at least three more months.

Online records show that a hearing for Debra Lynne Elliot was delayed until July 31 in Harrisonburg-Rockingham General District Court.

Elliot, 66, is facing four charges, including involuntary manslaughter involving alcohol, following the Tuesday morning incident on Bryant Hollow Road.

Virginia State Police said that Dymond Thacker, 34, died after a car, allegedly driven by Elliot, rolled over her.

Thacker was on the hood of that moving vehicle when she fell in front of it.
