HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Windy and colder weather will be with us this weekend thanks to a cold front that moved through the Shenandoah Valley overnight. High pressure builds in, clearing skies and ushering in some of the coldest temperatures we have seen this season. The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for early Sunday morning. Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing in some parts of the valley. Cold enough to kill plants left out and not covered. Temperatures will state to warm Sunday, but Sunday night may bring another round of freezing temperatures for some areas.
Next week temperatures will warm and we have a chance for some showers, associated with a Nor’easter off the Carolina coast.
