STRASBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Virginia State Police continue to investigate a 28-year-old coldcase involving the murder of a woman from Shenandoah County.

Authorities say the Bureau of Criminal Investigations out of the Culpeper Division II Field Office conducted a grid search yesterday in Fauquier (FAWKeer) County, in the area of Route 29 and Airlie Road, related to the 1998 murder of Strasburg native Sylenna Dalton.

Her 10-week-old daughter, Allyson Dalton, was missing at that time and has never been located.

Anyone with questions or information related to the case should contact Special Agent M. Jones with the Virginia State Police.
